 About Care Farming

Care farming was primarily established to compliment medical treatments for people suffering from mental and physical health problems and to offer more choices for rehabilitation, therapy and work training. Public health bodies and local authorities needed effective, economical options to tackle emergent health problems to assist with general social care.

Care farming is now responsible for reintegrating people back into society and employment and is engaging many parts of the community and is a potential solution for addressing many social issues.
