Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are recruiting 6 Trustees

Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is an independent local organisation affiliated with national Mind and has been committed to improving the mental health of people in the Hull and East Yorkshire area for over 30 years. We have an annual turnover in excess of £2m and have over 80 staff with offices in Hull, Bridlington, Goole and Beverley.
We wish to recruit six new members to join our seven-strong governing body, the board of trustees.
We are looking for people who can offer Hull and East Yorkshire Mind an independent judgement, strategic vision and can devote the required amount of time to developing Hull and East Yorkshire Mind. Ideally we’re looking for a range of experience in the following areas: • IT and communication
• Quality Assurance and Standards
• HR, PR and marketing
• Fundraising and finance
• To enhance HEY Mind’s sphere of influence
• Mental health
We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
We will pay trustees’ travel expenses. You will be expected to contribute a minimum of 3 hours each month for an evening board meeting.
