The Gateway

The Gateway Project aims to be a community resource that promotes social inclusion.

The Gateway offers individually tailored support plans to assist service users with all aspects of good mental health and wellbeing, including socialising and networks, education and learning, safety and welfare, housing and living needs, finance and budgeting, recreational needs, training and education. All service users are at differing levels of need,
but The Gateway team will support them to improve daily living skills
and begin to address any social exclusion issues.
The Gateway team work with other community resources to encourage service users to engage with them in order to reduce social isolation. Furthermore the team will signpost service users to other voluntary organisations and statutory services to offer a holistic support package.
The Gateway can be accessed through a variety of methods, including self-referral, or referral from GPs, Community Mental Health Teams, or other voluntary or statutory organisations.
